Twitter Suspends Journalists Who Cover Elon Musk, Disbands Its Trust & Safety Council
Twitter suspended the profiles of several high-profile journalists who cover the social media platform and its new owner and CEO Elon Musk. Musk said the suspensions stemmed from the platform’s new rules banning private jet trackers.
In an email to the company, it announced that it was disbanding the Trust and Safety Council, a group composed of civil-society groups that advise Twitter on how to enforce its policies, an hour before the council was set to meet.
